A wonderful delicacy that may be deadly
Yet humans would not fare without it
Our barrier against disease may be available readily
 But for many the self-crime of overdose is difficult not to commit

Filling a room at a near incomprehensible speed
It is an amazing entity that we must hold dear
Light is art that unimpairs vision
Enlightening our world and eliminating fear

A True Olympian

The entire world gathered to compete
But only the one with the strongest perseverance will avoid defeat

When the torch is lit so are the olympian souls
For the gold medal is the ultimate goal

Years of exhaustion are at stake for a few seconds
For a true olympian is a force to be reckoned
  
Compete for your country and stand without shame
As it is an honor to even play in an olympic game

Veteran of War

Honor our veterans and pray for the fallen
For without them we would seize to exist
Their bravery exceeds all limits, and for them we remain united
A single soldier so determined can intimidate an entire army

They defend our nation, standing humble and proud
And their powerful will to protect is larger than any great wall
The sacrifices were ultimate and so be our rememberence
So lest we forget, and allow those fallen souls to rest in peace

Curing droughts, and advancing our lands growth
Like a true blessing bestowed upon us with the ultimate gesture 
Although it dampens our day, rendering us unable to play
It hydrates our earth, restoring mother nature

The Race For First World Education

A truly sought after opportunity
For many, it may only be dreamt
An opened door that will only once be left ajar
But often may lead to mental torment

The change is visiously unbearable
Yet the desire for reward is more valuable than money
The pressure of restarting may render the mind an oven
And the adjustment to the community is often agony

The options to improve life are endless
A chance like this opens infinite opportunity
Many strive to immigrate but very few prevail
With the determination of fire, almost inhumanly

We strike earth down, whimpering at its knee
As it fires back through natural means
How? I ask of thee, do we live care free
When land's teaming, with parasitic genes

As our battle with earth remains intense
Our chance of victory will disappear
For all of earths attacks were just self-defense
We remain as extinctions puppeteers

Humans left an irreparable dent

The several sins of society shall never be erased
Though generosity seems real, improvement is yet to be made
Why? I ask of thee, are we afraid to take action?
For the quantity of our greed is greater than the quality of our hearts

As they suffer through the unbearable nightmare of life
We are manipulated by the pointless essence of medias idols
These situations repetitively taught through ones education
Have yet to cure the eternal corruption

War, Disease, Poverty have taken the ultimate toll
As society leisurely waits to simply pick up the pieces
The damage taken has blown through the possibilities of repair
And until we realize our greed is the true despicable menace
The unfortunate shall struggle to see the light of day

Although truth is never inevitable, humanity is often deceived

The Greed for Freedom

Freedom marks the blood-stained air
For what can't be bought is what causes a mans uncivil glare

Spirits are lit for the prestigious prize
As mourning begins among the thousands that can only attempt to arise

Many strive, but then die in vain
As their families are left with the unbinding pain

When a dose of freedom cannot be shared
The greed to win is used to fight, and very few are actually spared

For surfaces alike seemingly united, location divides us
The entities of life are gifted to the fortunate
While corruption lurks and poisons the coloured sky
But from my very own witness, their envy shall forever remain ultimate
